UK PARLIAMENTARY ROUND TABLE DIALOGUE

 YB Teresa Kok had a UK Parliamentary Roundtable dialogue chaired by Lord Simon Wooley in the House of Lords, Westminster. The minister conveyed that Malaysia is keen to work with Britain in facilitating opportunities across the region. Post Brexit, it is hoped that the British government will look into the wider opportunities now available without the trade constraints of the EU.

 

 


ROUNDTABLE DIALOGUE: COMMONWEALTH CAUCUS FOR SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL PRODUCTION USE IN AFRICA 

Some of the key discussion points were on the possible collaboration between the Malaysia and the United Kingdom in assisting African nations on sustainable palm oil production. YB Teresa Kok also highlighted the extensive efforts that have been undertaken to produce certified sustainable palm oil by the Malaysian Palm Oil industry and how all of these efforts can be adopted by other producing countries particularly by African countries.
