KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 24): The crude palm oil (CPO) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives extended gains to close higher on Wednesday, spurred by positive market sentiment.
Mumbai-based Sunvin Group commodity research head Anilkumar Bagani said the local market was influenced by the bullish momentum in the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) soybean oil futures overnight and a mid-session flurry in China’s vegetable oil futures.
KUALA LUMPUR: The crude palm oil (CPO) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower for the sixth consecutive day today on subdued demand due to weak market sentiment.
"(The benchmark) CPO plunged below RM4,500 a tonne today, the lowest for this year as bearish sentiment continues to grip the market.
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 9): Crude palm oil (CPO) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives fell for the second consecutive day ahead of the release of Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) monthly supply-demand releases.
Mumbai-based Sunvin Group commodity research head Anilkumar Bagani said MPOB would release its October data on Thursday while the USDA would announce its report later on Wednesday.
