KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 -- The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) has developed “BizMatch”, a new online match-making platform, connecting businesses from across Europe with Malaysian palm oil supply entities.
In an advertisement posted on the MPOC website, it said BizMatch is a one-stop centre for those who have decided to tackle adversity head-on and seize the opportunities that presented themselves despite or in some cases even because of COVID-19.

“Dozens of Malaysian palm oil related companies will be there, spanning the entire industry from crude palm oil to oleochemicals, from logistics solutions to the Export-Import Bank of Malaysia,” it said.
MPOC said themed “In the midst of a crisis, lies the seed of great opportunities”, the MPOC BizMatch 2020 would be held between Sept 1 and Nov 30, Mondays through Fridays.
It said all MPOC services on the platform are complimentary and participants are free to choose who they would like to speak to during the event or select the interested company to do business with, as well as schedule a one-on-one online meeting via Zoom or Vectera and explore opportunities and define steps.
